Congrats to all the Celtics fans
While I consider myself a Celtics fan; I am the first to admit that I’m a TOTAL bandwagon fan. I’ve not given the NBA much more than a passing glance for well over 15 years now. Even college basketball I only pay attention to the tournament. Not because I don’t enjoy watching it, but because if I was a diehard basketball watcher to go along with baseball and football; I’d have ZERO life.
So for those of you who DO live and die with the Celtics, a hearty congratulations to you. That was one helluva statement game last night.
I wagoned like no other…I began the wagon in game 5 of the piston series..seriously…from that point on, i was hooked…they were playing great team basketball, great team defense…12 guys getting used, not just a rotation…Some nights some guys got 1 minute, then 20 the next…Rivers coached beautifully…and to beat the Lakers and their frontrunning celebrity fans was sweet…Here’s to The Truth, The Big Ticket, and He Got Game Allen, and Posey raining 3′s and Rondo looking like Hondo in Game 6 and to Co-Execs of the Year in Ainge and McHale (sealed the C’s title hopes by allowing Garnett to leave Minny)….The BOSTON SPORTS MACHINE EN FUEGO!!!!!! Even the B’s struck excitement in their playoff v. Montreal with the Baby B’s…2007-2008…The Year of the Bostons (BC Hockey wins it all)….

When they were down by 24 in LA I thought about you, danny, and I e-mailed a friend (right in the middle of the game – here it was 3.30am) * I said – DONT GO TO BED _ THEY WILL COME BACK AND WIN TONITE!
THE CELTICS WERE MY FIRST LOVE and STILL ARE HIGH INSIDE ME.
